Barrett's esophagus is a precancerous condition of the esophagus caused by chronic acid reflux. It is a common condition and millions in the United States suffer from this condition. The incidence of Barrett's cancer has increased 6-folds within last 10 years. Most of the patients' symptoms are similar to reflux symptoms.
